On September 30th, at approximately 9 a.m., emergency crews were dispatched to Highway 89 and Airport Road in Mono following a collision involving two vehicles, each occupied by a lone driver.
The driver of a commercial vehicle was transported to a local hospital with minor injuries. The driver of the passenger vehicle was airlifted to a Toronto-area trauma centre for treatment of injuries sustained in the collision.
Members of the OPP Technical Collision Investigation unit assisted with the investigation.
