The Town of Orangeville is looking for a Parks/Public Works Operator to help maintain parks, trails, sports fields and roads year-round, splitting time between summer parks work and winter overnight road operations.
In this role, you will:
• operate and maintain various parks and facilities, including general repairs, playground inspections and cleanup
• provide winter control operations related to snow and ice
• operate a variety of equipment related to the distinct roles
What you need to succeed:
• secondary school diploma or equivalent
• one to two years’ experience working in a municipal parks/public works environment
• certifications related to the field (listed on job posting) considered assets
