The Mill Creek rehabilitation project in Orangeville begins today (July 2)! The Town will be restoring the section of the creek running between Dawson Road and Bythia Street.
This project will help enhance the natural space of the creek itself as well as bring improvements to the trail for our residents.
Work includes:
• improving flood resilience along Mill Creek
• restoring and stabilizing creek channels and banks
• upgrading stormwater and sanitary sewer infrastructure
• installation of a new pedestrian bridge and trailway repairs
• creating a more natural creek alignment using bioengineering methods
