On April 21st, Wellington County OPP charged a 59-year-old Hillsburgh resident with five offences following a traffic stop on Wellington Road 22 in Erin.
The charges, laid under the Highway Traffic Act, included:

Careless driving and

Driving without insurance

The investigation was initiated after police saw a motorist trying to pass other traffic and narrowly avoiding a collision.
