Water is flowing again after a large number of homes in the area of Coleraine Drive and Harvest Moon Dr. and King St. West in Bolton were without water since Wednesday morning due to a large watermain break. Water was expected to be restored by noon today (Thursday), but repairs were completed ahead of schedule. The Caledon Centre for Recreation Wellness at 14111 Hwy 50 in Bolton remained open all night for public washroom facilities, water bottle refill stations, and the shower facility (upon request).
If you needed to purchase bottled water, you can submit a receipt to Peel region for reimbursement (up to a maximum of $15 per household). The email address is: zzgwaterwwtechs@peelregion.ca. Be sure to include your name, address and receipts dated either April 15 or 16.
