The Town of Caledon has officially broken ground on a new Provincial Offences Act (POA) Courthouse, a significant investment of about $30 million allocated to providing modern, accessible and sustainable civic infrastructure that will enhance the delivery of judicial and administrative services for the community.
Located southeast of Town Hall off Innis Lake Road, the new courthouse will serve as a dedicated civic and institutional facility supporting the Town’s POA operations.
Designed to strengthen the Caledon Town Hall Campus, the project will improve public access to judicial and administrative services while supporting long-term growth and integration within the community.
Construction is now underway with the anticipated completion date of winter 2028.
