Dufferin OPP has charged a Grand Valley resident with impaired driving following a collision.
On October 2nd, at approximately 12:30 a.m., officers responded to a single vehicle collision in the area of County Road 25 and Mount Haven Crescent in Grand Valley.
Officers attended the area and located the vehicle. They subsequently located the driver and initiated an impaired driving investigation.
As a result of the investigation, a 21-year-old male from Grand Valley, has been charged with:

Operation while impaired

Drive vehicle with cannabis readily available
- Fail to remain
- Fail to report accident
- Careless driving
- Driving motor vehicle with open container of liquor
The accused individual is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Orangeville at a later date to answer to the charges.
