Amazon has announced it is investing more than CAD $78 million in pay increases for eligible operations employees across Canada, including those working at its 10 sites in the Peel Region.
Effective September 27, Amazon’s average hourly base wage will be $26.27 per hour – a 4% increase from 2025.
The company is also introducing a new benefit for eligible employees in Canada. Starting October 1, full-time, part-time, seasonal and corporate employees will receive 10% off eligible online grocery and daily essentials purchases on Amazon.ca, with no cap on savings.
These investments build on Amazon’s existing workplace benefits, including health, dental and vision coverage from day one for regular full-time operations employees, an RRSP with employer match, the Employee Prime Benefit and Career Choice tuition support.
