Members of the Dufferin Detachment of the OPP have charged an Orangeville resident with impaired driving-related offences following a public complaint.
On July 4th, shortly after 6:30 p.m., officers responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle in the area of Townline in the Town of Orangeville. Upon arrival, officers spoke with the male driver and observed signs of impairment, prompting them to initiate an impaired driving investigation.
A 37-year-old male, from Orangeville is facing several charges.
The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Orangeville. Their driver’s licence was suspended, and their vehicle impounded.
