Dufferin OPP executed a search warrant at a residence on William Street in Shelburne. During the operation, one individual was taken into custody without incident, while a second individual fled the scene.
In the spring, Dufferin OPP initiated a drug trafficking investigation. On July 8th, members of the Dufferin OPP Community Street Crime Unit, with assistance from the Collingwood and Huronia West CSCUs, executed the search warrant at the residence.
While officers tried to take the second individual into custody, he fled the scene. On July 2th, members of the Ontario Provincial Police Repeat Offender Parole Enforcement (ROPE) located the accused in Brampton and took him into custody without incident.
A 43-year-old male from Brampton and a 63-year-old male from Shelburne, are both facing numerous charges.
