Meanwhile, Dufferin County will rehabilitate approximately 9.7 kilometres of Dufferin County Road 10 between Dufferin County Road 25 and the west limits of Laurel, within the Township of Amaranth and the Town of Grand Valley.
The project includes replacement of select road and driveway culverts, localized ditch improvements, road platform rehabilitation, new asphalt paving, shoulder restoration and pavement markings. Upon completion, the project will provide a smoother driving surface, improved drainage and enhanced long-term performance of the roadway.
Traffic disruptions during construction will include temporary lane restrictions, intermittent delays and temporary full road closures with no through traffic at select cross culvert replacement locations where maintaining traffic during replacement is not practical. Advance notice of all road closures, including detour routes and emergency access provisions where applicable, will be provided prior to implementation.
