The Caledon OPP Community Mobilization Unit stopped a transport truck on King Street in Caledon last Monday. The transport truck was placed out of service by Ontario transportation for multiple defects.
On inspection, the same major defects had not been properly repaired after the vehicle was stopped the week prior. Somehow, this operator obtained new license plates, and the vehicle had been re-certified and was back on the road. The new plates were seized, and vehicle/trailer were removed from our roads AGAIN! The driver and the company shared 17 different charges.
