Dufferin OPP charge Mulmur resident with impaired following collision

Dufferin OPP has charged a Mulmur resident with impaired operation-following a collision.

On May 13rh, at approximately 10 p.m., Dufferin OPP officers were dispatched to the area of Centre Road and 5th Sideroad in Mulmur for a vehicle that had rolled over. On arrival, officers observed that there was nobody inside the vehicle however, they were able to locate the driver walking down the road a short time later. While speaking with the driver, officers initiated an impaired driving investigation.

As a result of the investigation, an 18-year-old male from Mulmur, has been charged with:

·      Operation while impaired

The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Orangeville at a later date to answer to the charge.
