Officers from Dufferin OPP recently executed search warrants at residences in Orangeville and Concord, as well as on three vehicles. During the operation, police seized a quantity of drugs, cash, cell phones, various weapons, and a vehicle. Two individuals were arrested in connection with the investigation, along with three others who were wanted on separate warrants.
In the fall of 2024, the Dufferin OPP launched a drug trafficking investigation targeting Orangeville, based on information received by police. On October 28th Dufferin OPP Community Street Crime Unit, with assistance from the Caledon CSCU and Dufferin Platoon officers, executed several search warrants. The operation resulted in the arrest of two individuals and the seizure of multiple items.
A 33-year-old male from Barrie and a 49-year-old male from Orangeville have been charged.
