Autumn is most active season for wildlife

Autumn is peak season for wildlife activity on the roads: Stay Alert, Stay Safe, & Buckle Up! Over the past three years, Central Region OPP Patrolled roads have seen over 6,000 wildlife-related motor vehicle collisions, with deer accounting for 82.5% of them. These incidents peak in November, and are most common during dawn (6–8 AM)and dusk (5–10 PM).
