Caledon is introducing a Special Events By-law to ensure large public events are hosted responsibly, safely, and are respectful of zoning and land use by-laws.
The proposed by-law and permit process:
Will Apply To: Public events on private property with 500+ guests
Will Not Apply To: Private events hosted on private property such as weddings, large family gatherings, birthday parties, etc.
