Fallen tree and light pole close King Street East in Bolton

King Street in Bolton was closed for several hours in both directions yesterday afternoon after a tree and a light pole crashed down across the roadway just east of Humberlea Road.  It happened during a brief but intense rain storm which hit the village mid afternoon.  Fortunately no one was hurt but it did create headaches for motorists during the evening rush hour.
