The plan was presented to council and the public at the planning and development committee meeting on Tuesday, July 15th.
According to a public meeting information report, the 36.81-hectare property, located at 12909 Kennedy Rd. in Ward 2, is currently occupied by a farmhouse, multiple barns and related structures used for agricultural purposes.
A local road network is planned with connections from Kennedy Road, Old School Road and from the existing road network within the existing residential subdivision to the south.
The proposal states that Brampton transit will potentially utilize the subdivision for a north end bus loop.
