After years sitting vacant, a 20-acre land donation intended for health and social services in Caledon is one step closer to serving its purpose.
Peel Region council endorsed a report with recommendations for moving the project forward at its May 22 meeting.
Caledon Mayor Annette Groves said funding will come from the province, region, community and “hopefully” the federal government as well.
Groves says the project is guided by dedicated leaders from Peel Region, The Town, Headwaters Health Care Centre, William Osler Health System and the Hills of Headwaters Collaborative Ontario Health Team.
