CCRSA wants improvements to Highway 50 moved up

A group of Bolton residents is calling on The Region of Peel to speed up upgrades to Highway 50.

The Caledon Community Road Safety Advocacy Group has launched a petition asking regional officials to quickly address safety concerns and worsening road conditions.

According to Peel Region’s capital projects schedule, work is not expected to begin on Highway 50 until mid-2027 and mid-2029 on Coleraine Drive.  The CCRSA Group says residents can’t wait “five or six years” for “road safety concerns to be addressed.”
